Undergrad Svetlana Musheyev is matriculating to New York University College of Dentistry.
Honors graduate Sai Kappagantula and Carlos Romero are continuing on in the lab as a Master's students.

February 13, 2009 A Day for Darwin at Queens College. A symposium and panel discussion to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Darwin's Birthday and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species. Full details are here.
December 14, 2008 Queens College was selected to participate in the Howard Hughes Medical Institutes's National Genomics Research Initiative. Dr. Dennehy and Dr. Hickerson will jointly offer a Science Research Experience course to incoming freshmen beginning Fall 2009.
August 1, 2008 The laboratory has received a research starter grant from the National Science Foundation for the study of the population dynamics and evolution of emerging infectious diseases.
June 1st, 2008 Ph.D. student James Carpino passes second level exams and advances to candidacy.
